What are PEPID Nursing Care Plans?
PEPID Nursing Care Plan software allows students to edit and submit care plan assignments to instructors online. The program also contains built-in references and an index of common medical and surgical care plan templates that students can print or download for reference – for assignments, at the bedside, or for reviewing cases or treatment plans.
You’ll log in to RNCP using your email for the username and enter a password. You’ll also be prompted to Choose Your Institution from a drop down list.
For more information about your account settings, go to My Account Settings.
After logging in, you’ll be on the main page - the My Care Plans page.
The My Account page displays your account information including name, email, username and password.
To edit your account information:
For a list of your care plans, go to My Care Plans homepage
The center pane displays the list of your care plans after they’ve been assigned by your instructor or the care plan builder. It includes status information, grades, and dates modified and submitted.
Sort allows you to view your list by - All, Complete, or Not Started
Completed care plans are displayed with check mark in checkbox.
The Care Plans pane on the left of the page is an index of standard care plans based on NANDA diagnosis that can be used for reference – for assignments, at the bedside, or for reviewing cases or treatment plans. The index also includes care plans that you have built or that have been created by the instructors.
Note: The standard care plans are for reference and can only be edited if they are assigned to the student or copied to the care plan builder.

Click – to decrease list of topics displayed
Click Print to print standard care plan
Click W icon to download standard care plan to Microsoft Word
Click Copy to Builder to copy standard care plan to the My Care Plan Builder
To create a care plan, click My Care Plan Builder.
To duplicate to a new care plan, click the white paper icon.
To edit a built care plan, click the pencil icon.
To delete a built care plan, click the red icon.
Note: A care plan that has been submitted is not available to be modified or deleted.
To edit, go to My Care Plans homepage:
Note: The Clear All option will clear the entire care plan.
To submit your care plan, go to My Care Plans homepage:
Note: The date submitted will appear in the submitted column on the My Care Plans page
Care plans can be downloaded to Microsoft Word.
To download a care plan, go to My Care Plans homepage:
The Nursing Student Reference tab opens the PEPID Online home page so you can access any additional PEPID nursing-specific suites that have been purchased for reference.
NOTE: To access, may need to update settings to allow pop-ups.
